SHENZHEN, China – January 21, 2026 – VidCard today announced the launch of the world’s first video business card, a hardware device under 5mm thick that replaces traditional paper cards with an HD video screen and NFC sharing technology. The product is designed for professionals who want to make stronger first impressions and track real engagement from networking.
The device features an HD video player, wireless charging, and NFC one-tap sharing. Users upload video introductions through Bluetooth. When someone taps the card with their phone, the video plays and engagement data is recorded.
Through a backend dashboard, users can see who viewed their profile and which parts of the video received the most attention. This helps professionals focus follow-ups on people who showed real interest.
“Paper cards often get lost or thrown away,” said Parsifal, founder of VidCard. “VidCard is built to help people be remembered and contacted. The screen helps create a strong impression, and the tracking shows who actually engaged.”
The idea was inspired by the Atlas Corporation video card seen in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. VidCard turns that concept into a real product for business and social networking.
VidCard supports two main uses. In business settings, users can show the card briefly during meetings so the video explains their work without long conversations. In social settings, users can share personal videos about skills, hobbies, or interests and later see who viewed their profile.
“Business cards should do only two things: help you be remembered and help you be contacted,” Parsifal said. “We focus on those two goals using video and data.”
VidCard currently produces 50,000 units per week through a manufacturing partner in China. Users can choose a show-and-return model or give the card permanently to high-value contacts.
Setup is simple. Users connect by Bluetooth and upload videos wirelessly. Multiple cards can be updated at once. There are no limits on video style or length.
VidCard launched on Product Hunt and is available on Kickstarter. Early users include founders and sales professionals who want better results from networking.
Shipping to early backers begins in June 2026.
